Services and Pricing
Honeypot Practice offers thoughtful, evidence-based speech and language therapy tailored to each child. Below is an outline of available services and pricing.
Standard Assessment
£200*
An assessment is the first step in understanding your child’s communication needs and how best to support them.
Assessments last up to one hour and are carefully tailored to your child. Depending on their age, needs, and attention, this may include a mix of formal assessments, informal observation, play-based tasks, and structured activities. I always adapt the session so your child feels as comfortable and supported as possible.
Before the assessment, parents are asked to complete a detailed case history form. This helps me build a full picture of your child’s development, strengths, and any concerns, and ensures the assessment time is used effectively.
Following the session, you will receive a comprehensive written report. This will clearly explain:
your child’s current communication skills
any identified areas of difficulty
practical recommendations and next steps
Enhanced Assessment
£300*
An enhanced assessment is a more detailed assessment designed for situations where a comprehensive, evidence-based report is needed, such as to support an Education, Health and Care Plan request, review, or other formal processes.
This assessment lasts up to 90 minutes and allows additional time to explore your child’s communication needs in greater depth. The session may include a combination of formal assessments, informal observation, structured activities, and play-based tasks, depending on what is most appropriate for your child.
Before the assessment, parents are asked to complete a detailed case history form. With your consent, I will also gather information from school staff to understand how your child’s communication needs present in the classroom and across the school day.
Following the assessment, you will receive a comprehensive written report. This will:
clearly describe your child’s strengths and areas of need
explain how communication difficulties impact learning and participation
include detailed, evidence-based recommendations and provision
Therapy Sessions
£85*
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and are designed to provide meaningful, effective support while allowing enough time for your child to settle, engage, and practise new skills.
Sessions are structured yet flexible, using a combination of play-based and structured activities to target your child’s individual speech, language, or communication goals. The session length allows time to explore targets in depth, revisit skills, and support generalisation across activities.
Therapy is always tailored to your child and may include play, games, visual supports, and practical strategies. Where appropriate, time is also used to share guidance with parents or carers to help support progress outside of sessions.
A completed assessment is required before therapy begins. This ensures therapy is appropriately targeted, evidence-based, and responsive to your child’s individual needs.
Additional Professional Input
£85 per hour*
Additional professional input is available where further support is needed beyond assessment and therapy sessions.
This may include attending meetings with schools or other professionals, contributing to multi-disciplinary discussions, providing written advice, or creating tailored resources to support your child in different settings.
This time is used flexibly and always with a clear purpose, agreed in advance. It ensures that recommendations are understood, consistently applied, and effectively embedded into your child’s daily environments.
Additional professional input is charged separately and may be recommended where it will meaningfully support progress.
