A targeted speech and language assessment designed to identify a child’s current needs and provide clear, practical targets for use in school.

This option includes up to 45 minutes of assessment and a concise 2-page written target report, outlining key findings and prioritised targets to support staff in the classroom. It is suitable for early identification, monitoring progress, or when a brief overview is needed to inform next steps.

Comprehensive Assessment

£200*

This option includes up to 60 minutes of assessment and a structured written report providing a clear picture of a child’s strengths and areas of need. The report includes a breakdown of each area of speech, language and communication, along with practical recommendations to support the child in school. It offers a broader and more detailed overview than the focused assessment and can be used to inform SEN planning, reviews and discussions with other professionals.

Therapy is provided through structured 50-minute sessions focused on agreed areas of need, with activities tailored to the individual child. The number of sessions recommended will be based on the child’s needs and professional judgement, and not all children will require the same amount of direct input.
